Regulation on transition ISO/IEC 17025:2017

On 30 November 2017, the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 was published by International Organization of Standard. Therefore, certificate of ISO/IEC 17025 :2017 shall only be provided after 30 November 2017.
Laboratoties which accreditated ISO/IEC 17025 :2005 shall have 03 years to complete transition, which means transition process shall complete before 30 November 2020.

The initial applicant who applied before 30/09/2018, shall select which either new or old version to be assessed.


If the applicant choose ISO/IEC 17025 :2005, then the surveillance assessment shall be converted to transition assessment.


In case clients shall not complete transition in time with surveillance, then the effective date of accreditation shall not exceed 29/11/2020

Before 30 September 2018

All applicants send application after 30/09/2018 shall be assessed following ISO/IEC 17025 :2017.

After 30 September 2018
Completion of transition assessments 31 May 2020
Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 :2005 ceases to be valid

           Transition fee is equal to surveillance fee as per contact.
